Specific training courses
Aube offers some fifteen special training courses in the areas of Transport and Logistics, ranging from vocational diplomas to engineering degrees. An example would be the university degree in Logistics Operations Management, which is supported by the National Logistics Foundation.
The University of technology of Troyes (2000 students) is the spearhead of training and research in logistics engineering, offering companies a number of collaboration schemes involving trainee engineers, research contracts etc.
Special research centre
The University of technology of Troyes runs a regional research and technology transfer centre specialised in organisational and support technologies with a strong business focus. Its internationally renowned Industrial Systems Optimisation Laboratory (LOSI) works on the logistics chain and flow optimisation, transport logistics and the optimisation of production chains and the supply chain.

The commitment has already led to the building of the Aube Technology Centre, the provision of industrial premises to let, the refurbishment and rental of industrial land and the development of three more business estates.
